Always compare at identical firmware profiles. An overclocked sample against a factory-profile nameplate is misleading.

Entry production (0.05–0.15 PH/s) — Single-unit operators in converted office space or small warehouse corners. Noise and breaker capacity dominate site planning.
Mid farm (0.15–1 PH/s) — Multiple racks, often mixed generations. Hash variance across units frequently traces to airflow rather than silicon lottery.
Container / high density (1 PH/s+) — Requires coordinated intake/exhaust design. Our audits focus on per-rack recovery rather than chasing peak brochure specs.
BTC-only firmware checklist
Before pointing hardware at a pool, confirm:
- Pool URL resolves to SHA-256 Bitcoin stratum
- Dev fee switches are disabled if your operator policy requires it
- Fan fail-safe triggers at reasonable thresholds for unmanned nights
- Rejected share rate stays below 1% after 24 hours
